Our Audit Team
The audit team currently has 70 staff, ranging from trainee to partner. As a member of the audit team, you will report to Managers, Associate Directors or Partners depending on the assignment. Your work will not be limited to audit alone – you’ll also have opportunities to be involved in advisory and corporate finance projects, including due diligence, modelling, restructuring, valuations and non-audit work such as preparing cashflow forecasts or supporting systems implementation.
Start-up companies are an important and rapidly growing client area. We support entrepreneurial businesses from formation through to financial planning, helping them secure appropriate finance and investment as they scale.
Job Description
You will be involved in cutting-edge financial matters across a broad range of activities and clients, including audit and assurance
You will be involved with planning, all the way through to completion of audits. Typically leading a team of juniors, as well as acting as the key contact to the client
You will be in constant interaction with the team and your audit partner
You will receive training and feedback from exceptional practitioners, along with international and advisory exposure with your clients
You will have the opportunity to further develop your accounting, financial and business inter-personal skills, and build your career with the firm

We would love to hear from you if you have
At least three years' audit experience, established within a mid-tier accountancy practice
The ACA qualification with excellent communication skills
Experience liaising with all relevant stakeholders
The ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
Excellent IT and presentation skills
Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
A sound working knowledge of audits in the SME market
The ability to ensure that all statutory requirements are complied with, and technical knowledge is kept up-to-date
The ability to ensure that all client deadlines are met and to budget accordingly
Working knowledge of Caseware would be an advantage
Consideration for the needs and skills of those under supervision, organising tasks and responsibility
